A bold Speyside single malt matured in Moscatel and Mezcal casks. Distilled in 2013, bottled in 2025 at 54% ABV. Speys Oddity is weird, wonderful, and uncharted.

Speys. The final frontier. Our mission, to boldly go where no dram has gone before.
This is two casks and two casks only from an unknown Speyside distillery. One was aged in Moscatel cask for 2 years. The other was aged in Mezcal cask for two years.
In a completely novel whisky making, mad scientist-esque experiment, the two casks have been blended to create a Speys Oddity.
• A rich, opulent ex-Moscatel cask, bursting with dried fruits and velvety texture at 54.0% natural cask strength.
• A dry, structured ex-Mezcal cask, lending refined earthiness and a whisper of smoke at 54.9% natural cask strength.
The resulting liquid marries beautifully together to create a dram much greater than the sum of their parts.
