Slane Special Edition is inspired by Lord Henry Conyngham and the first Slane Castle Concert that took place on August 16, 1981 (Lineup: Thin Lizzy – Sweet Savage, The Bureau, Rose Tattoo, Hazel O’Connor,U2). Now more than 40 years later, Henry’s trailblazing idea lives on both through the concert and Slane Irish Whiskey. Slane Special Edition uses Slane Irish Whiskey’s signature triple casked blend with an increased amount of Virgin Casks to go with the Seasoned and Sherry Casks. The abv is 45% playing off of the iconic 45rpm record.
